This program is generously sponsored by Stewart Public Library and Canada Post is an early childhood development initiative dedicated to providing all children with a good start in life. It helps to ensure that children ages 0 to 6 develop the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical skills they need as they enter school. Putting hope in children’s lives guides Canada Post in its community investment endeavours. The Canada Post Community Foundation for Children delivers a brighter future for children and youth in Canada by supporting registered charities, school programs and local initiatives. BC Libraries builds and enhances community through engaging citizens in early childhood development, and funding programs that strengthen services for young children and their families. Funded programs include literacy, nutrition, children’s play, parenting and family skills development.
This program is free and available to residents of Stewart. It runs every Friday from 9:30 till 11:30 am
